We believe in breeding for quality and not quantity.  Therefore, we do not have a litter on the ground
every month.

Before any dog enters our breeding program, both the sire and dam must be cleared for any genetic
heart issues by a board certified cardiologist through the
OFA, hips and thyroid are cleared and rated
through
OFA, as well as the eyes.  If either the sire or dam does not meet our requirements for breeding,
it simply does not take place.  Each puppy that leaves for their new home has a guarantee against
genetic health issues.  Before acquiring any puppy, make sure that
the breeder can produce certificates
from the
OFA or PennHip.  Just because they say they don't have these problems, doesn't mean they
don't exist unless they are tested and certified.

Our dogs are shown in
The United Kennel Club, The American Kennel Club, and Canada.  We both are
licensed judges with
The United Kennel Club, The National Kennel Club, and The American Rare Breed
Association.
About Ferrari Boxers
Potential "Ferrari Boxer" owners, please read before contacting us for additional information.
Here at Ferrari Boxers we take great pride in our dogs.  We spend hours each day developing each dog
and puppy to it's full potential.  Puppies are whelped in our home.  Adult dogs are worked with daily and
all are involved in showing/training.  Our dogs are rotated and all share time living as house pets.  None
of our dogs are strictly kennel/outside dogs.

Most of our requests for a "Ferrari Boxer" are from new breeders expressing a desire to get into
showing.  Many have had bad experiences trying to purchase a show quality dog from well-known
breeders.

We are happy to discuss our dogs and available puppies, but we do have special requirements to
protect our puppies/dogs and the years of selective breeding that has gone into producing the
consistent  quality we are fortunate to have.

If you would like to own a "Ferrari Boxer", be honest in your intentions.  If you only want a breeding
animal, tell us.  We will be much easier to deal with if you are honest rather than if we find out after the
fact and we have to repossess the dog because you were dishonest  about the contract.

Our puppies are pets first and foremost (companion dogs), showing dogs (show prospects) last .  All
companion dogs/pets are released on a Companion/Pet Contract with a limited registration, and MUST
be spayed/neutered. No Ferrari Boxer is to ever live his/her life entirely as a kennel/outside dog.  They are
placed in homes where they are valuable family members and no puppy will ever be knowingly placed in
a "kennel only" environment.  Boxers are "inside" dogs, and require human interaction in a family
setting.

If you are a novice show home and want to show, we will select your puppy for you.  Being a handler and
a conformation judge, I evaluate my litters for puppies that will be capable of finishing their
championships.
